ate rather simply on my first try in the medina. this food stand with a grill in the middle was cooking up the small sausages and other meats. it seemed a good place to eat with both arab and westerns eating there. the red thing is some sort of sauce. was pretty cheap, about a dollar and a half i think. i couldn't understand how much he wanted so i just held out my hand with change in it. i'm guessing the amout baed on what change i had left. then went off to have some orange juice. there are many orange juice stands in the medina that kinda look like a mini orange julius with tons of oranges stacked behind glass. it was quite refreshing to have fresh squeezed orange juice for under 50cents.
