paris by train

i decided to head out to paris after a week in amsterdam. it was tough deciding how long to stay in amsterdam. i wanted to stay long enough to enjoy the city, but was afraid to stay too long i would get bored. again, flying in and out of amsterdam cheap seem difficult to come by. only other big city i would consider fly to from amsterdam was prague, but i decided to skip prague, maybe another vacation. thalys trains had a pretty good deal from amsterdam to paris, 52.50 Euros (about 67-69 bucks). though the purchase was somewhat of an ordeal. they had several ways to obtaining your ticket. my method of choice was printing at home by an electronic ticket sent through email. i guess i don't always get what i want, cuz that option was not available during purchase, at least not evident to me. end up chose to print the ticket at the station. i'm thinking i'll swing by the train station a few days before leaving to print it out. though right now, i'm not sure where the train station is, amsterdam central (name of the station) sound close to where i'll be hanging out, yeah? in paris my cousin will pick me up and she is allowing me to stay at her place. don't know where she lives, but she did say it is not in paris. probably in the suburbs some place. anyways, here's my train trip to paris itinery:

Train No 9346
Leaving Amsterdam at 14:16
Arriving Paris Nord at 18:35
